Services
General Office Duties: Our office oversees the functions of the county elections, coordinates the county board functions, such as meetings, agendas, minutes and resolutions/ordinances. It issues state licenses, such as dog and marriage licenses, and performs other such duties as seen fit through the direction of the county board supervisors.

Sawyer County is the home of the Lumberjack World Championships, the American Birkebeiner Cross-country ski race and the CAMBA Fat Tire race among other well-known tourist attractions. The Lac Courte Oreilles Indian reservation is at the center of the county and adds to the uniqueness of our community and its economy.
