Previous Work Experience:

Prior to becoming county clerk, Megan was deputy county clerk for just over two years, and worked in the Waushara County Land Conservation and Zoning Department. Megan was a daycare director before she went to work in county government. 

Other & Personal:

Megan is married with one daughter. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing piano, cooking, attending church functions, and playing drums in her church band.

County Information:

Located in central Wisconsin, Waushara County was created in 1851 from Marquette County. The county seat is Wautoma. The name "Waushara" is thought to be the settlers' attempt at applying a Native American term meaning "good land."  Waushara County has more than 100 lakes, 150 miles of trout streams, 7,000 acres of public hunting and fishing grounds, and 300 miles of snowmobile trails.
