The Walworth County Clerk is the official record keeper for the Walworth County Board of Supervisors.  Other duties include: election administration, issuance of marriage licenses and hunting/fishing licenses and many other duties as prescribed by the Wisconsin Statutes.

Education:

She graduated from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication. She has completed the United States Chamber of Commerce 6 year Institute for Organizational Management and is a Dale Carnegie graduate.

Previous Work Experience:

Prior to taking office, Kim had been the Vice President of Forward Janesville from 1992-1996. From 1984-1992 she was the Executive Director of the Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce, Elkhorn Development Company and Elkhorn Commercial Development Corp. In 1983-1984, Kim was the Executive Vice President of the Antigo Area Chamber of Commerce.

Other & Personal:

Kim is married and the proud mother of two. She is a current officer of the Wisconsin County Clerk’s Association, a member of the Elkhorn Kiwanis Club, the Republican Party of Walworth County and Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.

There are many choices of entertainment and recreation activities in Walworth County that draw crowds of tourists.  The Walworth County Fair is one of the oldest and largest County Fairs in the Midwest, attracting more than 150,000 people annually.  Alpine Valley Music Theatre features big name music stars during the summer months.  The City of Lake Geneva has many stores and resorts catering specifically to tourists.  There are lakes, campgrounds, trails, ski hills and championship golf courses for the sports enthusiasts.
