Services:

The Milwaukee County Clerk provides services to the County Board, County Executive, county government departments, the citizens of Milwaukee County and the general public. The County Clerk records and indexes the proceedings of the County Board of Supervisors; maintains all of the legislative files and the indexes of ordinances and resolutions for Milwaukee County; administers oaths of office, maintains the central files for Milwaukee County reports, records, contracts and corporate documents; receives and publicly opens bids; issues marriage licenses; accepts applications for passports; sells bus tickets; processes garnishment actions, tax levies and wage assignments of County employees; processes lien notices; and registers all lobbyists and lobbying principals and reports to the County Board, County Executive and the public on lobbying activity.
