Services

Performs administrative functions for the county; administers county, state, and national elections; maintains voter registration data for 30 municipalities in Dunn County; issues marriage licenses, domestic partnership certificates; records County Board proceedings, and maintains adopted resolutions and ordinances; while providing support and guidance to the County Board; maintains dog licenses; timber cutting permits; compiles official county directory; and serves the public as teh go-to hub for general county information.

The Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts (Menomonie) is a world renowned performance venue and was listed as one of the 15 Most Spectacular Theaters in the World by CNN Travel (2014). The arts are pivotal in Dunn County, with Tuesday night summer concerts with the Ludington Guard Band (oldest in Wisconsin), The Menomonie Theater Guild, Music Over Menomonie at the Menomonie Public Library all summer long, and lots more! The county has excellent recreational activities from biking to boating, fishing to frivolity; the county is home to the beautiful Red Cedar State Trail, Hoffman Hills State Recreational Area, and the Lake Menomin Loop.
